Charity and Elvin met in the most unlikely of places, a night club in Old Town Scottsdale. Elvin had just moved to Arizona that day and Charity was visiting for one night only. After shots of Tequila they went their separate ways, and as the story goes Elvin found Charity on Instagram, but Charity DM’d him first. SHOCKING!!

Elvin left for the Dominican Republic and Charity went home to LA. Something was different in our connection and the spark could not be ignored. After spending hours on facetime and the phone in separate countries we planned to meet back in Arizona. Charity picked Elvin up in his own car from the airport, and they had takeout and wine, it all felt right from that first night. Just to test it, Elvin drove Charity home to LA the next day, to see if they could survive a 6 hour car ride together. Charity even spoke to Maritza on the car ride, talking to Mama on day 2 was pretty huge.

From that day on they were inseparable but inseparable from LA to Arizona, seeing each other as much as possible. They went on vacations, Elvin brought Charity to the Dominican Republic where they said I love you for the first time. Elvin asked Charity to be his girlfriend on 6.26, three months from the day they met. At five months Charity moved to Arizona, they met each other's families, John and Jackie-O and friends and in November the most important piece was added to their love story, Charity met Bentley. This was so important to Elvin and truly completed their love. They bought a home in 2022 and their love continued to grow through them and their family and friends. They also added Alpha to their family, a cute little puppy that grew to be the most giant 3rd dog they could have found. A home filled with so much love.

Like all love stories there are good times and hard times. Elvin stood by Charity’s side when she lost her brother Joshua and her Mother Theresa. He helped take care of Theresa and gave her so much love as she fought cancer. These times were some of the hardest times, but their love carried them through it all. They grew closer and stronger than ever, resulting in a love that can stand the test of time.

In December 2024 in the place where they first said “I love you” Elvin brought Charity to the beautiful Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic. After a cold shower and Charity complaining about being rushed, they found themselves at Altos de Chavón overlooking the water and stunning landscape of the Dominican. Elvin got down on one knee in the most beautiful of settings and asked Charity to be his wife!!! Truly the most magical moment in the most unreal setting, with two people that are completely in love.
